Purchase Agreement
This
purchase agreement is entered into for the purchase of one or more Labrador Retriever puppies from North Forty Kennels. Your signature at the bottom of the Agreement
signifies that you have read, understand and agree to all statements herein
contained.
The
Puppy(ies):
The
puppy (or puppies) you are purchasing are guaranteed to be whelped from AKC
registered Labrador Retrievers that are in good health. North Forty Kennels puppies are at least 7
weeks old for personal pickup and at least 8 weeks old for air travel delivery.
The
puppies have had dew claws removed, received two de-worming treatments and the
first set of vaccinations.
Health
Guarantee:
North
Forty Kennels has taken great care in assuring that our puppies are as healthy
as possible. We guarantee that:
1)
Our puppies (at the time of delivery to you) are free from
life-threatening illness and defects that would affect their overall health.
For your protection, have your puppy seen by your veterinarian within 72 hours
of purchase. If, upon examination, your
veterinarian discovers a life-threatening health issue, you may return the
puppy to North Forty Kennels and: 1) Leave the puppy and receive a full refund
of the purchase price, or 2) Leave the puppy and choose another; either an
available puppy, or a puppy to be whelped in the future.
2)
Our puppies’ hips will be guaranteed for the first twenty five months of
their life. If the puppy is diagnosed by
a veterinarian (and OFFA) to have hip dysplasia and has not been bred, you may
return the animal to North Forty Kennels (at purchaser’s expense). You may then choose another available puppy
or a puppy to be whelped in the future.
If
the conditions stated in Guarantee’s #1 and #2 are not met, the guarantee is null
and void.
North Forty Kennels is dedicated to the continuation of healthy generations of Labrador Retrievers. In the future, if your dog should develop an inherited condition (hip dysplasia, etc.), please contact us. We will use this information when considering future breeding of related animals.
